Birthday Week!!!

What a week Toby had! It started last Saturday when Grandma Janie, Great-Grandma Faerene and Uncle Barry came over. Grandma Janie brought Toby the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine for his birthday! "It's just what I have always wanted", he said!

Then Ma came over and he got another present!!!! The Imaginext Space Station and Imaginext Spider Vehicle! He had so much fun playing with his new toys!!!

Monday night was tumbling class which he loves! He is always so happy to see his buddy Jaxcen at tumbling!

Tuesday night was his big Chuckee Cheese birthday party! Toby had so much fun and loved all his presents!!!!

Wednesday we stayed home the first half of the day to recover from the party. Toby enjoyed playing with all his new toys all morning! Late afternoon we met cousin Cassidy at Fundamentals by Wright for open gym! Toby and Cassidy had so much fun showing each other what they could do. Cassidy taught Toby how to do a forward flip on the bars! Toby was exhausted after open gym!

Thursday Toby took Monsters vs. Aliens to preschool for all his friends!

Friday we surprised him and took him to Kings Island for his birthday! We didn't tell him until we were pulling into the parking lot! Toby was soooo excited! His favorite ride was the Scooby Doo Haunted House. (or as Toby called it the Scooby Doo Haunted Man House) We rode the Scooby Doo ride 10 times!!

He insisted on sitting in the #4 swing on the Backyardigans swing since he was turning 4!

Toby met a little girl friend named Caylie. After he met her he wanted to ride every ride she wanted to ride! They were cute together!

The Obstacle Course

Toby had his buddy Jaxcen over today. They played inside for a little bit with Toby's toys and on the slide on Toby's bed. Toby and Jaxcen then rode in the bike trailer with Scott pulling them down the street to Aunt Sandy and Uncle Todd's house to play on the inflatable obstacle course. Watching them was a blast. I finally decided to join them for a few times down the slide!!! Boy is it fun to be a kid!

An Eventful Week

Toby started a new tumbling class on Monday. He is in a boy class at Fundamentals by Wright. He really enjoyed it and loved that Coach Randy told him he had a "killer handstand"! Along with the class each week they have free time where you can come in a second time and play. We took him today for the "Funtime". And boy did he have fun!!!!

Toby also started preschool this week. He loved being in the "Big boy class"! He also liked his new teachers! He talked the entire way home after I picked him up. He couldn't stop telling me about all the fun things he did at school. Wednesday we enjoyed a few hours at the Children's Museum. We had so much fun! Thursday night he had tumbling class where he has gone since he was a little little guy. (He has another week left there) We weren't sure how he would act this week as he was so tired but he ended up doing a pretty good job of listening. He always enjoys seeing his buddy Jaxcen at tumbling. He is very excited that Jaxcen is coming over to play with him Sunday! He had a blast last Sunday at Jaxcen's house!!!

More Fun

A few weeks ago we enjoyed "camping" at the Flinn's house. We had soooo much fun!!! We enjoyed getting to hang out with our friends! Life is so busy we don't get to see them much! Toby didn't want to go down the waterslide at first but after he went down once, he couldn't get enough. The kids also enjoyed watching Madagascar 2 outside and eating popcorn, playing on the swing set, and just running around!

Fun, fun and more fun!

Toby enjoyed another fun week! Monday evening he got to hang out with dad by himself while I went and took pictures. He always enjoys daddy time! As an added bonus, Abby came over and played with him. Since it was another rainy Wednesday, (it has pretty much rained on my day off the entire summer) this week we decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese's. His cousins Danny and Abby and Danny's friend Michael decided to join us. They all of course had a great time! Toby has now decided that he wants his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. I didn't take my camera to Chuck E. Cheese's so I don't have any pictures to share. Later that evening we had dinner with my family!

Saturday was filled with lots of fun! We started out with a Tball game at 9am. Toby is really enjoying playing Tball. Just two more games left and then I think he has decided to go back to Lil' Kickers soccer!

After a nice nap, we took Toby to Holliday Park. We walked the trails and took a few pictures and then it was time to play on the playground. Toby has no fear which scares me to death! He wanted to try and climb on everything. He said they had the best slide ever!!!!!

After the park we went to Aunt Sandy's house. His cousins Cassidy and Carly were there. Toby and Cassidy had a tea party together outside. Toby was crashing at this point but got back with it in time for the treasure hunt. They had a great time finding clues and finding the treasure at the end! What a day!!!!

It has been a long time!

Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted anything on my blog. The summer is quickly flying by. We have been busy with work, tumbling, Tball and playdates! It is so much fun to watch Toby interact with friends and have a good time! He finally moved out of his crib into a big boy bed. Can you believe he still doesn't get out of his bed he just yells for us to come in when he wakes up and then he goes down his slide? Toby has a little over a month until he turns 4. He is very excited about turning 4! And can't wait to have a birthday party! Just a few pictures of Toby and a few of his new room. I also hope to add some of other summer fun if I can find all my pictures (my laptop crashed and I am still trying to find pictures that I have saved)!

Toby and his buddy Jaxcen. Toby and Jaxcen have been in the same tumbling class since they were around 15 or 16 months old. They also took a soccer class together and are both playing tball (although not on the same team much to Toby's disappointment). Toby loves to have Jaxcen over to play! Last time Jaxcen was over, Toby said he wanted Jaxcen to come over every day. Toby also loves playing at Jaxcen's on his slip n' slide and loves his air hockey table! They have so much fun together and we have so much fun watching them!
