Thanksgiving was much different for us this year. We decided to go on vacation since it was a time we could both get away from work. It was hard being away from family but we really enjoyed our quality time together just the three of us. Thanksgiving on the beach was awesome! If only we could have gotten a picture of the three of us together!
It has been awhile since I have had time to post. Between work and the holidays it has been so busy! These were taken before all of this cold weather started! It is so nice to see my sister so happy!! And I can't believe how grown her kids are!
Toby absolutely loved trick-or-treating. He couldn't get to the next house fast enough and if he forgot to say thank you one he got half way down the drive-away he would turn around and run back and say thank you. He especially enjoyed trick-or-treating with his cousins. Although he wanted to run off with the big boys. He told me, "Superman doesn't hold his mom's hand". How fast they grow up!!!!!!!!
We took Toby to Great Wolf Lodge on Sunday for the first time. We stayed in the kid kamp room. It was fun, and then more fun, and then more fun. Between the waterpark, the arcade, trick-or-treating, the Tower Clock show and Story time it was constant stimulation!!!! It was so nice for the three of us to spend some alone time together!!! Whenever we walked past the window of the water park Toby would say, "Mommy, I had fun in there!" I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and son!!!!!!!!!
We had such a great time at the Pumpkin Patch today. I think Toby's favorite part was jumping in the hay! We had to look at every pumpkin before deciding on which one to get. And then we went back to jumping in the hay. He also enjoyed the Pumpkin Train and crawling through the inflatable caterpillar! The farm animals were a hit too!
Toby won the Top Fundraiser Award at the Indiana AIDS Walk and Ride. I was so proud of him. When his name was called he went right up and accepted his award. He also won the tricycle race. I didn't have my camera with me but took this picture when we got home. Hopefully, I will have more "official" pictures taken at the event later!
Scott and Sonya have been married for 8 years. They are blessed with a 4 year old son, Toby and a 10 year old chocolate lab, Hoiberg. This blog documents the fun the Cork Family has together!
