It has been a long time!

Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted anything on my blog. The summer is quickly flying by. We have been busy with work, tumbling, Tball and playdates! It is so much fun to watch Toby interact with friends and have a good time! He finally moved out of his crib into a big boy bed. Can you believe he still doesn't get out of his bed he just yells for us to come in when he wakes up and then he goes down his slide? Toby has a little over a month until he turns 4. He is very excited about turning 4! And can't wait to have a birthday party! Just a few pictures of Toby and a few of his new room. I also hope to add some of other summer fun if I can find all my pictures (my laptop crashed and I am still trying to find pictures that I have saved)!

Toby's new bedroom and bed. He is so excited about it!

Toby and his buddy Jaxcen. Toby and Jaxcen have been in the same tumbling class since they were around 15 or 16 months old. They also took a soccer class together and are both playing tball (although not on the same team much to Toby's disappointment). Toby loves to have Jaxcen over to play! Last time Jaxcen was over, Toby said he wanted Jaxcen to come over every day. Toby also loves playing at Jaxcen's on his slip n' slide and loves his air hockey table! They have so much fun together and we have so much fun watching them!

Snow Day

I really don't like driving in the snow but I enjoyed playing in the snow with Toby and his cousin Abby! They enjoyed pulling each other on the sled and Toby and I went back out for a second round in the snow and made a snow dog. Now I am ready for summer!!!!!!

Soccer, Children's Museum and New Haircut

I thought I would post some pictures of Toby's first awards session at his Lil Kickers Soccer Class. He really enjoyed the class and is now in his second session. Maybe he will get his daddy's soccer skills :) I was a bad mommy and forgot my camera! Luckily my mom was there with hers and took these pictures! Thanks mom!!!!

We decided to take Toby to the Children's Museum the day after New Year's Day. Bad idea!!!! Scooby Doo was supposed to be there that day and he was so excited. It took us forever to get parked at the museum and to get tickets. I guess everyone in Indianapols also thought it would be a good day to go to the museum so by the time we were able to get in it was past time for Scooby. But luckily the Yule Slide was still there and Toby and Scott were able to go down the slide. We got in line at the right time and did not have to wait terribly long. As we went on, everything had long lines. We finally decided we had had enough and it was time to go. Toby was tired and had a different idea. He wanted to go down the Yule Slide again. The line was insane at this point and we were all tired. We told him he already got to go down the slide and that it was time to go. He refused to put his coat on and had a full melt down at the doors of the Children's Museum. Here are a couple of pictures when he was happy! And one of Scott going down the slide!

Finally, a picture of Toby with his new haircut.

Merry Christmas!

This year was the most exciting year so far for Toby at Christmas. We made cookies for Santa and he insisted on putting carrots out for the reindeer. We spent Christmas Eve with my family. We enjoyed our pizza tradition and then went back to my mom's house for presents. Toby was excited about everything and kept yelling, "Merry Christmas" to everyone. It also nice to watch him play with his cousins who he insisted were not his cousins they are his friends! When we got in the car Toby said, "I had a lot of fun at Grandma Janie's!" Christmas morning, I was the first one up. I am worse than a kid and could not wait for Toby to wake up. After cleaning and baking cupcakes, he finally woke up! He ran in to see if Santa ate his cookies. He then ate a small breakfast and got to see what Santa put in his stocking. The highlight of the stocking was Moto Moto! He started screaming, "I have Moto Moto now I have all the animals!" (McDonalds recently was giving out Madagascar 2 animals in their Happy Meals. Toby was determined to get them all but was never able to get Moto Moto. My mom even went to various McDonalds locations begging for Moto Moto but was also unable to find one. What a grandma though!!!!! We then had to turn to ebay and actually found one to my surprise! I guess you can buy anything on ebay) Santa left Toby's presents in the basement. He was very excited to see a Thomas The Train Bouncy Bounce. He started yelling, "I got Thomas!!!" After a few minutes of jumping he quickly got out of the bouncy bounce to see if Santa brought him what he asked for everytime he saw him.... A Leapster. Which of course he did! Then in the next room, Santa got him an airport and airplane for his Geotrax. I am not sure which one enjoys it more, Toby or daddy! After playing with everything downstairs we went upstairs to open presents from mommy and daddy, hoiberg, and baby blowfish. Toby was so excited about everything he got! He was also excited about the present he picked out for Daddy, a Tom and Jerry Nutcracker movie. After opening all the presents it was time to go across the street for the Cork Family Christmas. After a great breakfast, it was time to open more presents. Toby could not wait to open his. He had so much fun playing with his cousins and new toys. We then came home and had to play the Candy Land Castle game Aunt Stephanie got him before he would take a nap. Naptime was much tougher than normal. He went to sleep talking about which toy he was going to play with next. He then woke up ready to play another game! His cousins came over to check out his new stuff and then it was off to another party. I must say how truly blessed we are to have such wonderful family and friends and to be together at Christmas time. Even though the month of December has been crazy, it has been a wonderful Christmas! I didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was much different for us this year. We decided to go on vacation since it was a time we could both get away from work. It was hard being away from family but we really enjoyed our quality time together just the three of us. Thanksgiving on the beach was awesome! If only we could have gotten a picture of the three of us together!

My Little Sister's Family

It has been awhile since I have had time to post. Between work and the holidays it has been so busy! These were taken before all of this cold weather started! It is so nice to see my sister so happy!! And I can't believe how grown her kids are!
